Prophylactic cleaning and hygiene education
During this first consultation, the child will also be given a prophylactic cleaning.
This one will consist in using an electric brush and a professional fluorinated cleaning gel to clean the teeth by showing and insisting on the zones on which the child must accentuate the brushing of the teeth.
The dentist will use a mirror to show the child what plaque and tartar look like, and will explain the proper way to brush the teeth.
