Whether you have several missing teeth or just one, it is a serious matter;
Each missing tooth must be replaced.
Although bridges and removable dentures are better than doing nothing, only dental implants can prevent the potentially very serious bone loss that occurs whenever a tooth is lost.
Having a single dental implant placed in our offices, or several at the same time, avoids many problems later on, namely bone atrophy and migration of neighboring and antagonistic teeth that will have less support.
The dental implant is an artificial root made of titanium that will be placed to replace the root of a missing tooth, after a precise 3D radiological examination, called Cone Beam.
Once the implant is placed, it will take 3 to 4 months for the bone to heal around the implant and stabilize it.
Then, the abutment and the implant-supported crown will be made so that the patient can chew on the new implant-supported crown.
